Shared Location

We are pleased to invite you to the opening of our upcoming exhibition with Dorota Gawęda & Eglė Kulbokaitė and David Moser. Shared Location explores so-called non-places (spaces without identity) both within virtual and real-time realms, as well as people's efforts to redesign these environments so that they appear welcoming and familiar. The departure hall at the airport, for example, which invites you to linger. The gym, which aims to foster a sense of community, even though everyone is running on the treadmill on their own. Dating apps at 3 a.m. Maybe our gallery is one of those places/spaces. But if the right people meet in such a setting, a non-place can quickly become something truly special.

The opening will take place on September 28 from 5 p.m. on the occasion of Kunst Nacht Zug. The artists will be present. There will be pizza and wine alongside a performance by Theresa Patzschke at 9 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there.
