La Rada - spazio per l’arte contemporanea, è lieta di presentare BodiesBodies, l’ultima esposizione della programmazione 2022.

BodiesBodies è una mostra che affronta un discorso aperto e frammentario sulla meta-identità in cui sculture, installazioni, video e performance si combinano per disegnare uno spazio ibrido tra corpo, genere e alterità.

La mostra propone alcune possibili visioni del corpo umano legate alla costante esposizione ai linguaggi cinematografici e al genere narrativo denominato Theory Fiction. Con la crescente attenzione dei media verso comportamenti, sentimenti, psiche e frammenti di esperienze intime e autobiografiche, noi stessi diventiamo il luogo e il mezzo di propagazione di comportamenti altrui, assumendo le scelte e l’estetica dei testimonial dello spettacolo. Il nostro corpo è continuamente costretto al confronto con un’idea condivisa e socialmente ideale di corpo perfetto, quello altrui.

La Rada - space for contemporary art, is pleased to present BodiesBodies, the latest exhibition in the 2022 programming.

BodiesBodies is an exhibition that addresses an open and fragmented discourse on meta-identity in which sculptures, installations, videos and performances combine to draw a hybrid space between body, gender and otherness.

The exhibition proposes some possible visions of the human body related to constant exposure to cinematic languages and the narrative genre called Theory Fiction. With the media's increasing focus on behaviors, feelings, psyches, and fragments of intimate and autobiographical experiences, we ourselves become the site and medium of propagating others' behaviors, taking on the choices and aesthetics of the show's testimonials. Our bodies are continually forced into confrontation with a shared and socially ideal idea of the perfect body, that of others.
