Buchmann Gallery is pleased to present the works of Swiss artist duo Gerda Steiner & Jörg Lenzlinger.

Steiner & Lenzlinger's artistic practice is distinguished by their ability to transform ordinary materials into extraordinary and evocative works of art. Using dried and artificial flowers, objects collected during their travels around the world, organic and inorganic materials, the artists create compositions that defy convention, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a fantastic universe. Using natural and artificial objects, sculptures that are transformed through the practice of crystallisation, Gerda Steiner & Jörg Lenzlinger create works that seem to come to life and evolve before the viewers' eyes, inviting them to a unique and unforgettable sensory experience.

Gerda Steiner and Jörg Lenzlinger have participated in major exhibitions including Kunsthaus Baselland (2024), Mühlerama, Zürich (2022), FRAC Alsace and FRAC Marseille (2021), Museum Tinguely, Basel (2018), Kunsthaus Bregenz (2017), Kunstmuseum Bern (2015), Museum Kunstpalast, Düsseldorf (2014) Bündner Kunstmuseum, Chur (2013).

They represented Switzerland at the Venice Biennale in 2003 with the installation Fallender Garten in the Church of San Stae in Venice.
