The Kunsthalle Friart Fribourg mounts temporary exhibitions with experienced artists. Its artistic influence and avant-garde vision have enabled it to acquire an international reputation. With its coherent and forward-looking programme, Friart is a laboratory, a production centre open to the development of current artistic trends.
The objectives of the association and museum Friart are to highlight artistic creation and promote contemporary research, notably by going out onto the streets to meet the public.
