Kolonialgeschichte prägt Gegenwart. Kader Attia wuchs zwischen zwei Kulturen in einer Pariser Banlieue auf. In seiner Kunst bezieht er Stellung zu postkolonialen Krisen und Konflikten. Er zeigt defekte Machtgefüge auf, die von der Moderne bis zur globalisierten Gegenwart führen, und sucht – aktuell im Kunsthaus Zürich – nach Wegen der Reparatur.
