Es war ein elektrisierender Atelierbesuch bei Barbara Ellmerer im Vorfeld der Ausstellung bei Andres Thalmann: Aus ihren neuen Bildern sprühen buchstäblich Funken, so energiegeladen wirkt das Farbgeschehen auf den grossen Leinwänden. Gemalt wurden sie mehrheitlich während des Corona-Lockdowns.
