Als der Freigeist Wenzel Haller ab 1995 in Aarau ein Netzwerk von Gästeateliers aufbaute, assoziierte man Kunst von ausserhalb des westlichen Koordinatensystems gern mit Folklore oder Krieg. Das war im Aargau nicht anders. Dass dort trotzdem zahlreiche Verbindungen etwa nach Indien oder Palästina gewachsen sind, verdankt sich Hallers Engagement.
Eröffnung Arjun Das, Forum Schlossplatz Aarau, 2019, mit Wenzel Haller und Josiane Imhasly (vormals Schlossplatz, jetzt Pro Helvetia), dem Künstler und Ateliergästen.
