Viel Zeit war Ketty La Rocca nicht vergönnt. Mit nur 37 Jahren starb sie an einem Hirntumor. Mit ihrem intelligenten, aufgeweckten Werk, das sie ab 1964 schuf, leistete sie aber dennoch wesentliche Beiträge zur italienischen Neovanguardia und setzte aus feministischer Perspektive wichtige frühe Akzente.
