Die amerikanische Künstlerin Betye Saar gehört mit ihren Assemblagen und Installationen zu den Pionierinnen des Black Arts Movement und Black Feminism. Bezeichnenderweise ist sie hierzulande kaum bekannt. Das Kunstmuseum Luzern füllt nun diese Lücke mit einer stimmungsvollen Retrospektive.
