Die diesjährige Hauptschau der Biennale Venedig fächert im Arsenale und im Padiglione Centrale eine breite Palette von Kunst auf, die nicht aus «Euroamerica» stammt. Denn der Kurator Adriano Pedrosa ist angetreten, die historische Schuld des zu lange zu eng gehaltenen künstlerischen Kanons zu begleichen – ein Konzept in nobler Absicht mit einigen Fallstricken.
