Peu montré aux États-Unis, l´?uvre de Steven Parrino a conquis le public européen, et en particulier une nouvelle génération d´artistes pour qui elle incarne parfaitement la tension entre le formalisme des avant-gardes historiques et le réinvestissement symbolique propre à la culture populaire.
