Des premiers monochromes noirs aux dessins d'ombres à paupières, en passant par les tableaux de vernis à ongles, le travail de Nicole Hassler se caractérise par l'application d'une substance spécifique sur un support lisse. Ses oeuvres sont comme des écrans dont les reflets se réfléchiraient à leur tour dans la culture ambiante.
