Die Sammlung ist unermesslich gross, die Ausstellungsräume sind es nicht. Und doch erhält man im kürzlich eröffneten «Laboratorium für Fotografie» im Dreispitz-Areal in Basel eine Ahnung von den immensen Schätzen, die Ruth und Peter Herzog während Jahrzehnten zusammengetragen haben. Eine erste Auswahl der über dreihunderttausend Fotografien ist derzeit zu besichtigen.
