MOOS Fine Art Gallery / Herrliberg Zürich

Juan Zamora (b.1982) is a nomadic artist and biologist who works at the intersection of art, music, design, science, pedagogy, and social practice with a focus on the environment. His impressive projects have been exhibited internationally at prestigious venues such as the Manifesta Biennale, The Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Taipei. He has received recognition with awards such as the National Spanish Awards ABC, BMW Foundation, and Princess of Girona of Arts & Literature, among others. Currently, he is based at Ca´Foscari University in Venice.

With the exhibition "EVERY MISSING FLOWER," Zamora aims to give a voice to the speechless threatened flora, drawing inspiration from the myth of Echo, a nymph doomed to repeat words endlessly. Through an ecofeminist lens, his works prompt viewers to reevaluate their connection to the natural world.
