Guided tour (English) with curator Katharina Weikl (University of Zurich).

About the exhibition:

Dogs and humans are the most well-known pair among closely cohabiting species on this planet. Together, they navigate nature or urban spaces – and in September the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich. In the exhibition “Design for all Species” you will find innovative product and fashion designs that playfully explore the joint movement and coexistence of dogs and humans. All designs are inspired by veterinary research at the University of Zurich.

The Art x Science Office of the University of Zurich (UZH) promotes dialogue between art, science, and society and initiates international collaborations between artists and scientists. At the Zurich Design Weeks 2024, it presents the transdisciplinary project “Design for all Species”, initiated by Dr. Katharina Weikl (Head of Art x Science Office, UZH) and created in collaboration with researchers Prof. Antonio Pozzi and Dr. Brian Park (Vetsuisse Faculty, UZH), as well as design students led by Prof. Yeori Bae and Prof. Gilock Lee (Hongik University, Seoul).
