Siamo prontƏ ed emozionatƏ, il 2023 si apre con l’esposizione SBANDARE, nella quale presenteremo le pratiche artistiche di Adrien Chevalley, Noemi Pfister, Margherita Raso e Marco Rigoni. La partecipazione all’evento è libera e gratuita, vi aspettiamo numerose per l’inaugurazione!

Adrien Chevalley (*1987) vive e lavora a Vevey. Ha studiato presso la HEAD, dove ha conseguito un Master in Arti Visive nel 2012. Nasce e cresce in una famiglia di ceramisti del Pays d'Enhaut. La ceramica è così diventata parte centrale della sua pratica artistica fin dall'inizio della sua carriera. Adrien è un membro fondatore dell'Associazione RATS, che promuove l'arte contemporanea a Vevey. Dal 2021 ha fondato anche PANO, uno spazio per l'arte contemporanea in grandi vetrine delle Galeries du Rivage di Vevey. Le sue opere sono state presentate in numerose mostre in Svizzera e all'estero, tra cui il Centre d'art contemporain di Ginevra, la galleria DUVE di Berlino e La Becque | Résidence d'artistes di La Tour-de-Peilz. Nel 2022 terrà due grandi mostre personali: alla Galleria Forma di Losanna e al Centro d'arte Ferme de la Chapelle di Lancy.

/ Adrien Chevalley (*1987) lives and works in Vevey. He studied at HEAD, where he received a Master's degree in Visual Arts in 2012. He was born and raised in a family of potters in the Pays d'Enhaut. Ceramics has thus become a central part of his artistic practice since the beginning of his career. Adrien is a founding member of the RATS Association, which promotes contemporary art in Vevey. Since 2021, he has also founded PANO, a space for contemporary art in large windows of the Galeries du Rivage in Vevey. His works have been featured in numerous exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad, including the Centre d'art contemporain in Geneva, the DUVE gallery in Berlin, and La Becque | Résidence d'artistes in La Tour-de-Peilz. He will have two major solo exhibitions in 2022: at the Forma Gallery in Lausanne and the Ferme de la Chapelle Art Center in Lancy.

Noemi Pfister (*1991) è nata e cresciuta a Locarno. Tra il 2014 e il 2017, ha studiato arti visive alla HEAD di Ginevra, specializzandosi in pittura. Nel 2018 si è trasferita a Basilea, dove tutt’ora vive e lavora e dove nel 2019 ha ottenuto un master in Contemporary Art Practice dalla HGK. Dopo il diploma, ha co-fondato PALAZZINA, un off-space e casa d’artista a Basilea, dove vive e organizza mostre in collettivo con altri artisti. Nella sua pratica artistica, attraverso i medium della pittura e del disegno, si interroga sulla rappresentazione della figura dell’outsider, dell’emarginato, colui che viene considerato differente.

/ Noemi Pfister (*1991) was born and raised in Locarno. Between 2014 and 2017, she studied visual arts at HEAD in Geneva, specializing in painting. In 2018, she moved to Basel, where she still lives and works and where in 2019 she received a master's degree in Contemporary Art Practice from HGK. After graduation, she co-founded PALAZZINA, an off-space and artist house in Basel, where she lives and organizes exhibitions collectively with other artists. In her art practice, through the mediums of painting and drawing, she questions the representation of the figure of the outsider, the marginalized, the one who is considered different. 

La pratica artistica di Margherita Raso spazia tra numerosi medium, in particolare scultura e installazione site-specific. Raso si è diplomata in Arti Visive all'Accademia di Brera a Milano e attualmente frequenta l’Institut Kunst FHNW di Basilea, Svizzera. Dal 2014 al 2019 è stata co-fondatrice dell'artist-run space Armada a Milano. / Margherita Raso’s practice spans a variety of mediums, most notably sculpture and site-specific installation. Raso holds a BA in Visual Arts from the Academy of Brera in Milan, and she is currently attending the Institut Kunst FHNW in Basel, Switzerland. From 2014 to 2019 she is co-founder of the artist-run space Armada in Milan. Marco Rigoni (nato nel 1993) vive e lavora a Berlino. Ha conseguito il Bachelor of Visual Arts allo IUAV di Venezia e il Master in Fine Arts all'ECAL di Losanna. Il suo lavoro è stato esposto a Sgomento, Zurigo; Grand Palais, Berna; Café des Glaces, Tonnerre; Forde, Ginevra; Galerie Crevecoeur, Parigi; Magasins Généraux, Parigi; Galerie PCP, Parigi; 13 Vitrine, Losanna; NEST, Zurigo; Doc!, Parigi; The Shed, Treviso.

/ Marco Rigoni (*1993) lives and works in Berlin. He holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree from IUAV in Venice and a Master of Fine Arts degree from ECAL in Lausanne.
