Vera Trachsel

Vera Trachsel (1988), winner of the Ticino edition of the 2017 Manor Prize, presents a series of recent works created specifically for the occasion at MASI. While experimenting with different materials, the artist prefers to use sheets of paper, painted, folded, torn or crushed to create an ephemeral world in which nothing is ever definite, but everything is in transformation. Established in 1982, the Manor Prize is one of Switzerland’s most prestigious contemporary.
