Lachenmann Art's passion is to facilitate and specifically promote constructive relationships between exceptional artists, enthusiastic collectors, art lovers and cultural institutions. Our extensive network, the cooperation with other international galleries and the geographically very good location near the border to Switzerland enable us to show exhibitions that are not commonplace in the metropolises of the art world.

The gallery's programme focuses on contemporary and established artists with an impressive exhibition- and collection-history whose works are represented in private and institutional collections. Young and rising artists are also increasingly being discovered and launched, whose exemplary works stand out from the contemporary art market due to their unique features and characteristic points.

In five to six solo and group exhibitions a year, the gallery presents painting, photography, drawing and sculpture as well as installation, performance and conceptual art.
So far, Lachenmann Art has shown artists from Germany, USA, Finland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Canada, Korea, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, Serbia, Slovenia and Spain. Each exhibition is accompanied by extensive documentation in the form of catalogues and brochures.

By participating in national and international art fairs, various events, guided tours and artist talks in our gallery as well as with a wide range of online presence, we offer our customers numerous opportunities for participation.

The gallery is located in a former shipyard and impresses with its light-flooded, spacious and convertible rooms with an industrial look.
